Welcome, friend

Selsun News

We're looking to play at the Santa Fe Outlets every Friday in August. And if not all, at least the 3rd and the 10th. Thanks, Tammy!

Walking down Central, taking in the arts, this Friday evening? Well, then you'll definitely see us outside the 516 Arts gallery, from 6:00 to 8:00. Thanks for hanging out.

Us done find ourselves on NPR's Open Mic program. You can enjoy it here. A great program, honestly, and worth your time to listen to it.

Zinc, opening for Trilobite? Yeah, that's us. This isn't their MySpace page, but that dude obviously knows how to par-tey.

We'll be at the Santa Fe Outlets on July 28th. No doubt a deliciously bizarre show. We'll be giving away retail stores to the first four hundred guests.

In case you missed us at Yardfest (loser), you can relive the experience here.

At the Albuquerque Press Club for Trilobite's CD release show.

Jurassic Beaver!

Come have some coffee with Selsun Blue. We should be at Java Joe's on February 20th around 10:00 AM. And we hope your New Year was fun, too.

Hey! Buy a shirt!

Finally! You can download some of our tracks here.

Rock star pastor is electrocuted as he conducts baptism service.

We can be found at the Harwood Art Center on October 14th for Open Studio Night. No drinking, just art, but perhaps you can follow us home afterwards for a coldie. The next morning, we should be at the Grower's Market downtown, but we're not making any promises.

Gig on July 1st to celebrate the new and grand opening of the Bright Future Futon store, which is run by the Pastor's former neighbor & Tube's former co-worker Lois

Big thanks to the Animal Protection Voters. Their Political Animal Affair was a good time, the Mayor of Albuquerque called us "fun," and a truck full of grease and fat tipped over right down the road.

I could watch this for hours

Just what you need: Your Octopus, Squid & Cephalopod Information Center.

Selsun Who?

Selsun Blue has been a part of the Albuquerque musical community since the late 80's. They have performed at punk rock shows, art openings and toy departments.  Selsun Blue music has been used for independent film soundtracks. Their most recent CD titled "wash don't rinse" includes a handful of original compositions along with a bunch of unusual covers.

"Each song has that honest, laid-back, front-porch feel that plays out like lazy, meandering fireflies in the sweltering Louisiana evening."  (Kevin Hopper, Albuquerque Journal)
